Whether they live in our homes or in the wild, Subaru is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy.
Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.
It’s our goal to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.
In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.
We should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. We’re aiming to give as many people that chance as we can.
One of our Business Principles is; WE BELIEVE IN COMMUNITY SERVICE AND CONTINUALLY ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT OUR ASSOCIATES' PARTICIPATION
In May of 2015, Delaware Subaru presented a check to Christian Care Health Systems. Delaware Subaru raised $9,721 during our recent Share the Love campaign this past winter for the charity of our choice, which is the Christiana Care Health System in Delaware! Christiana Health System’s mission as an organization is; “to serve their neighbors as expert, caring partners in their health. We do this by creating innovative, effective, affordable systems of care that our neighbors value. This is our promise to you.” Christiana Care Health System, headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, is one of the country's largest health care providers, ranking 21st in the nation for hospital admissions.Christiana Care is a major teaching hospital with two campuses and more than 250 Medical-Dental residents and fellows. Christiana Care is recognized as a regional center for excellence in cardiology, cancer and women's health services. The system is home to Delaware's only Level I trauma center, the only center of its kind between Philadelphia and Baltimore. Christiana Care also features a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, the only delivering hospital in the state to offer this level of care for newborns. A not-for-profit, non-sectarian health system, Christiana Care includes two hospitals with more than 1,100 patient beds, a home health care service, preventive medicine, rehabilitation services, a network of primary care physicians and an extensive range of outpatient services.
Two weeks ago we unexpectedly found ourselves looking for a new car after a collision with a deer. Our interactions with Delaware Subaru were positive from the onset. We knew that we wanted a 2015 Impreza Limited with Eyesight which is a rare combination. We located that exact car on the Delaware Subaru website. We were greeted by Charles Gianakis when we came to the dealership. He told us that he would offer us a good deal; he lived up to his word, easily beating deals offered by the likes of Costco and other buying programs. He made the purchase a pleasure in contrast to the usual auto buying ordeal. The finance officer, April Gambacorta, matched Charles' professionalism. She was well-prepared and the purchase went smoothly. We had done our homework on the Internet and knew costs, profits, etc. Delaware Subaru respected our knowledge and efforts; at each turn they offered us a fair deal. Charles and April were efficient, responsive and professional in our purchase. We look forward to years of safe and enjoyable driving with our new Subaru.

Spring 2015-The Ministry of Caring received a $5,856 donation from Delaware Subaru. Brother Ronald Giannone, OFM Cap., founder and executive director of the Ministry, accepted the check from Michael Uffner, president of Delaware Subaru. The money was raised through Subaru's "Share the Love" campaign, a national program in which the automaker donates to nonprofits selected by new car buyers. Uffner said community service is one of the dealership's eight guiding principles. He praised the work done for the poor and homeless by the Ministry of Caring and Br. Ronald, whom he's known since Br. Ronald first arrived in Wilmington in the 1970s as a young friar with a desire to serve the poor. "The city and the state, without you and the Ministry of Caring, we'd be in a big world of hurt," Uffner said to Brother Ronald. Speaking before the dealership staff, Br. Ronald thanked them for choosing the Ministry of Caring as one of the participating charities and working to raise as much as possible. He spoke about how the money will be put to good use providing essential services to the poor. "Our agency takes care of the poorest of the poor of Delaware," Br. Ronald said. "We deal with the homeless, with those struggling, with those at the real end of a period of life. They're looking for hope. Through the Ministry of Caring, we give them jobs, housing, medical and dental care. We take care of all their basic human needs. Thank you..."

Teshina wrote to us: "I was looking to purchase a new vehicle during the fall season, and to my surprise my long-standing beloved vehicle came to its resting place 6 days ago :-( I had been interested in looking at a Subaru, given the fact that my father, my brother, and many of my friends are Subaru owners. My brother assisted me in researching different models, and I decided on the Impreza. To my surprise, we initiated a chat session with a representative from Delaware Subaru and we were invited to come to the dealership on the same day. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Mr. Mike Cassidy. He listened to my plight and was eager to help. He was able to work with his general manager - Nick Gianakis - to locate a brand new 2014 Impreza! I was even provided with a courtesy vehicle for 3 days until my new car was transported to the dealership in Wilmington. I had such a wonderful experience with the purchase of this vehicle! I definitely highly recommend Mr. Cassidy and the Delaware Subaru team - excellent service!!!"
