Delaware Subaru History:

Our Dealership was originally founded in 1916 as Delaware Motor Sales, and was first located on King Street in Wilmington on the property which has since been known as MBNA World Headquarters. In 1939, the company moved to the existing location, at 1606 Pennsylvania Avenue. Originally, and until 1966, the dealership was the sole Cadillac distributorship for the entire Delmarva Peninsula. In 1982, the current ownership assumed control, and the dealership became known as Delaware Cadillac. Delaware Saab was added in 1998 with new Sales facilities added for Saab in 2000. Extensive remodeling of Delaware Cadillac, which increased showroom and service facilities by over 14,000 square feet, was undertaken in 2003. The new showcase Cadillac facility officially reopened in September of 2004. The momentum continued when Delaware Subaru was added in October of 2004; which became Stellar Performer Certified in December of 2006! Additionally, we added our Kia Franchise in early 2009!  Today, our dealer group is known as AutoTeam Delaware!

Directions to our Showrooms from Pennsylvania & New Jersey (Walt Whitman Bridge or Commodore Barry Bridge):
Take I 95 South into Delaware. 
Take Wilmington exit 7B for Delaware Avenue (Route 52).
Make a right at the light at the top of the exit ramp onto Delaware Ave. 
Get in Left lane. 
This road splits and becomes Pennsylvania Avenue (Route 52).
Take Pennsylvania Avenue 8 traffic lights. 
Delaware Subaru will be the first Car Dealership on your right (just past the Sunoco Gas Station).

Directions to our Showrooms from New Jersey (Delaware Memorial Bridge) & Southern Delaware/ Maryland:
Take I 95 North.  Take Wilmington exit 7 for Delaware Avenue. This exit puts you onto a side street.  Go 4 traffic lights. 
Road dead-ends into Delaware Avenue (Route 52). 
Make a left onto Delaware Ave (away from the Downtown buildings).  Get in Left lane.  This road splits and becomes Pennsylvania Avenue (route 52).
Take Pennsylvania Avenue 7 traffic lights. 
Delaware Subaru will be the first Car Dealership on your right (just past the Sunoco Gas Station).

Directions to our Service & Parts Department:

Please note; our Service & Parts Department is located at a different location than our Sales Department - but only about a block away!

Driving from our Sales Showroom - Head West on Pennsylvania Ave.
Go one Traffic light, then turn Left onto Union Street (heading South).
Go two blocks, turn Left onto 9th Street.
Go one block, turn Left onto Lincoln Street (Lincoln Street is One Way)
Go one and a half blocks, Delaware Subaru Service Department will be on the Left hand side.
