Subaru Prepares to Debut the 2018 Ascent

Subaru is at it again, and it can’t wait to show you the all-new-for-2018 three-row crossover.

According to Autoblog.com, it appears to look similar to the Viziv-7 Concept Subaru unveiled at November's Los Angeles Auto Show. Right now, the Ascent is set to be made in Lafayette, Ind., and will be exclusive to the North American market. If you’re looking for space, this is something you won’t want to miss out on. The Ascent can seat up to eight passengers, and it’s a little longer than the Chevrolet Tahoe. Its wheelbase is 117.7 inches and the overall car measures 204.7 inches. It also offers all-wheel drive, which is ideal for Delaware drivers navigating icy and snowy roads in the wintertime.

Subaru debuted the Ascent at the New York Auto Show in April. The new model shows the automotive world that Subaru is again a popular contender in the large utility segment. Under its hood, the show car had a turbocharged boxer 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, so it can definitely pack a punch. According to Autoblog, it will be revealed in its fully-outfitted production trim next fall at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
